Retries and resends¶

When we retry¶

A timeout (10 seconds), a connection error, 5xx or 429 is retried 5 times: after 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and 6 hours. Other 4xx and 3xx are final. Every attempt keeps the delivery ID and is signed with a fresh timestamp.

Handle repeats¶

Skip a delivery ID you've already handled.
Don't rely on arrival order. For orders, ignore an order.updated_at older than the one you stored.
Apply the record whole; treat changes as a hint.

Resend a delivery¶

Resend any send from Recent deliveries while the webhook is on. It keeps the delivery ID. Lead and order events are rebuilt from the current record; others resend the original body, so bodies over 16 KB can't be resent.
